In an effort to practice social distancing at this time, below are some health tips to keep you and your loved ones busy and safe:
Calm Anxiety. Spend time with family and focus on creating mental images, typically of peaceful, beautiful places. The goal is to visualize a place to help your body and mind relax during this pandemic. Check out more information here.
Protect Yourself. The best way to prevent yourself being exposed to this virus, constantly wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. In addition, when blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing be certain to cover your mouth by covering it with your elbow or use a mask.
Protect Kids. A healthy home for kid is much needed during this time. Which means taking active steps to help protect your kids from home. An example of this can be getting rid of mold within the home. Another way we can help protect kids is by making sure we are using safe purified water. Every step we take in protecting our kids is one way we can help protect society as well.
Eat Health. Eating foods that are known to be high in sugar also come at a high cost. This also means poor diets can lead to more cases of strokes and diabetes in society. If we can work together on including more fruits and vegetables in our system, this can help reduce the risk and cost associated with these unhealthy foods.
